About Me:
Hello and welcome to olsonD.com - My name is Andrew Olson.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota where I received a BS degree in architecture. I have been interested in photography and design for as long as I can remember. (Thankfully, architecture allowed me to pursue both.)
To many, architecture and photography appear to be separate fields, but I have found that they share many underlying principles. In the same way that an architect must pay attention to the surrounding landscape, lighting, colors, proportions, and the inhabitants of a space… A photographer must also consider these elements if he/she wants to compose a dynamic and expressive image.
I am very thankful that I have been able to blend my skills in photography with my background in design, because I honesty can’t imagine choosing between them.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments!
